Biohacking: Is this the hottest health trend of 2023?

What was once reserved for High Net Worth individuals, professional athletes and celebrities, ‘Biohacking’ is the hottest and most exciting health trend we’ve seen in awhile...

If you are a high performer, athlete or just ‘really into your fitness’ - than ‘Biohacking’ - also known as DIY Biology- may already be on your radar. But for many Australians, the hottest health trend of 2023 may still be a bit of a mystery….

More of a movement than a term, ‘Biohacking’ refers to ‘hacking’ or taking control of improving one’s biochemistry, body, and mind in order to optimise human performance and longevity.

Popularised by Dave Asprey of Bulletproof Coffee, biohacking was once the domain only of High Net Worth individuals, Silicone Valley tech-bros and professional athletes. However, the last two years have caused a massive shift in the way everyday people prioritise health, wellness and vitality.

The idea of being healthy has changed from just being physically fit, eating well and treating disease -to a more holistic approach.

People are now able to strive (and achieve) upgraded performance, optimal health and longer lifespans - and we can thank the advancements in technology for making being an upgraded human a possibility!
