Lifespan vs Healthspan: Why you need both to live your ultimate life.

Have you heard the terms “Lifespan” and “Healthspan” before?

These terms are used a lot in the longevity space but allow us to break down what these terms really mean and why you need to understand both in order to live your ultimate life.

Healthspan refers to the number of years you live that are spent in good health (without disease or disorders).

Lifespan refers to the actual number of years you are alive (no matter how healthy they may be).

By prioritising your health and wellness and taking intentional actions to improve your mental, physical and energetic wellbeing – you can increase not only your Lifespan, but (perhaps more importantly) your Healthspan …. and maybe even maximise the joy and happiness you experience along the way if you’re lucky.
